We rarely need to see a receipt when you are paying for an assessment. Ticking this just tells us one exists, in case we have to check the date of purchase later.

What the £20.00 covers

  • Inspection of your pen and a decision on whether the fault is mechanical.
  • Postage back to you within the UK — your replacement, or your own pen returned.
  • Getting the pen to us is at your cost, and is not included.
  • The charge is not refunded, including where we find the fault is not covered.
  • Nothing here affects your statutory rights against whoever sold you the pen.

As soon as you pay we email you the address to post your pen to, along with what to put in the parcel. You go straight to checkout now, where we collect the address to send your pen or its replacement back to.
